Description: Light Yagami is a 17-year-old genius from Japan who is tired of his life, school, and the state of the world as he knows it. One day, on the way home from class, Light stumbles upon a dark notebook with "Death Note" written on the front. Intrigued by its appearance, Light reads the first sentence, only to find out that it states that anyone whose name is written inside will die. Discarding it as a joke, Light continues his daily activities. Soon after though, his human curiosity takes the better of him and prompts Light to try the notebook, discovering the truth behind the first sentence. Now, with power in his hands, Light Yagami is on a quest to change the world and become God of the New World. His path to holy status won't be easy however, as another genius, known as L, is working against Light's beliefs and Light himself. Who will win this power of Gods between humans?

*I would personally say that the content of the show itself is rated Teen 13+. The only reason I am saying it is rated Teen 17+ is because of the lyrics of the second opening of the show. In the second opening, the "F word" is used multiple times, and in English.

**Description: "Najika is a great cook and she likes to make meals for people she loves. But something is missing from her life. When she was a child, she met a boy who touched her heart - and now she's determined to find him. The only clue Najika has is a silver spoon that leads her to the prestigious Seika Academy.
"Attending Seika will be a challenge. Every kid at the school has a special talent, and the other girls in Najika's class think she doesn't deserve to be there. But Sora and Daichi, two popular brothers who barely speak to each other, recognize Najika's cooking for what it is - magical. Is either boy Najika's mysterious prince?"

*Age rating given at the back of the book(s) (In my personal opinion, this series could be read by anyone. The only things to watch out for are the fact that a younger child may not understand certain concepts of the plot depending on their age, the word "pervert" being used once or twice, and also a bit of blood in one chapter).

Description: As a direct continuation of the first season, Zero comes back after his disappearance from the academy. Despite her relief, Yuki, whose past is still shrouded in mystery, wonders what exactly happened to Zero during the separation. As Zero continues having the strange vision that appeared since the day he drank Kaname's blood, he visits the now awakened Maria Kurenai in an attempt to find answers. She only provides him with a cryptic answer that suggests who the true enemy might really be. In the meantime, vampires from the Supreme Vampire Council arrive at the academy in order to punish Zero with death for his sin of killing a pureblood. However, Kaname intervenes with the council's decision with not only the intention of saving Zero but with another purpose unbeknown to everyone around him.
